Time is on My Side

Fall Break is upon us.....

This week many schools in central Kentucky are on Fall Break.  A week off that gives a much needed respite for teachers and students, alike.  Not to mention teachers who are parents, like myself.

What will I do?

Hmmmmm.......

Landscaping is calling my name, not to mention a few chores that have remained, "undone".

A few appointments need to be handled.

Netflix is on the top of my list....maybe Veep, or something else.  I am open to suggestions....anyone?

A pot of chili or maybe some homemade chicken and dumplings are on the menu.

Whatever ends up happening, slow mornings with coffee are first on the agenda.

  1. Enjoy your leisure time, especially those mornings where you don't have to get up early and jet off to work!! That's the best part of being retired.. only a few times a year do you have to get up early. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

  2. My wife hasn't said anything about them getting a break here, I don't think they get anything until Thanksgiving. I think she would catch up on some sleep if she got a break.

    1. Fall break is my favorite time of the year. We start at the beginning of August, so one week off in October is golden.

  3. Ozarks was really good. Easily, you could watch in a week.

  4. This is a great time to have a break...you can catch your breath after taking care of all the necessities connected with the beginning of school. We did not have such a break, so you're lucky. Maybe rest and relax is the best prescription?
