A Japanese Maple for today's viewing pleasure.

As a teacher I like these holiday gift ideas, for kids of a variety of ages.

A dreamy, little houseboat for weekend excursions is right here.

Weird Thanksgiving traditions can be found, right here.

This gem showed up on my Spotify playlist this week.
 Never gets old.

Linking up with Tanya today.

  1. Hello, the red maple is looking gorgeous. I would like staying on the houseboat. I plan on cutting back on Christmas presents, a few gift cards and I am done. Thanks for sharing! Happy Friday, enjoy your weekend!

  4. LOL! Some of those weird Thanksgiving traditions are known in this family... A college girl in our church just told us that her family laughs at the families that use can shaped cranberry sauce. We'd never called it that before and that's the only kind my hubs likes... So now I'll forever call it that..

  7. Lovely leaves.
A big year for xmas gifts this year with the twins.
I could live on a house boat no big seas just drifting up and down a long slow river.

  11. I really enjoyed looking at that houseboat. Did you know I lived on one for 5 years? I had my 26 foot sailboat moored right out the front door. To see it just google my name and "houseboat" and you can see photos. It was 1500 sq ft!! Thanks for showing that. Happy weekend. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

  12. Wow! Those leaves are vibrant! I enjoyed the fall colors while we had them. Everything is starting to look rather hibernal now, but so far we have had no snow that has lasted.
