Thankful Thursday

Thankful this Thursday for a loving community.  A long standing member of our small town passed away yesterday.  She was a teacher, coach, wife, mother, and an outstanding member of our community.  Though she has been ill for a while, her passing is no less striking in its heartbreak.

A new mother, found ill and unresponsive, is also in the prayer fold of our small town.

In times like these, my small town bands together to support the sick, the grieving, and the loss felt to all.

If you are alive and relatively well today....take a moment and be thankful, truly thankful to be a part of this earth for one more day.

  2. I think that is what keeps me living in a small town. I told of a neighbor who had a big Halloween display and another lady said their name knowing they do it every year when passing out treats to children.
