Snowy Sunday

Maybe I should say, "Slow, Snowy Sunday".  We did get snow, but not too much ice.  More snow tomorrow!  Sounds exciting, but for my small town it can be a bit debilitating.  Today most churches were closed and road crews continue to work overtime for everyone's benefit.

Above is pictured my own barn, poised behind our fruit trees.  This afternoon was spent by the wood stove, complete with snuggly dogs and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, recommended by my daughter.  The first three episodes did not disappoint.

Linking up with The Barn Collective today.

Stay warm, wherever you are.

  1. ...in the '60s I lived in Georgia, life came to a halt for the least amount of snow or ice. When there is no equipment on hand, the attitude is, 'if God brought it, God is take it away.' I had a great afternoon out taking pictures in two feet of snow! Thank Michelle for stopping by, please come again.

  2. I hope that Mrs. Maisel comes out on DVD sometime. I'd love to see it. Snowy cold day here to, spent it painting furniture.

  3. Wow, we didn't get any of that, just the cold came over the mountains and a little rain the other day when it was still warm. I am glad we don't have any snow.

  7. Love the photo. Idyllic. Do you have animals in the barn? I would certainly give The Marveleous Missus a look but we have Netflix not Amazon. I can't get my dear wife to watch anymore Gilmore Girls. We got our fill some years back. And I had my fill of snow and ice some years back. It can be pretty as in your photo but what a mess when it melt and turns everything into a sloppy mess! Thus, Florida! 😎

  14. I can't remember our church ever being closed because of snow, we've had very few people sometimes on snowy days but it remained opened.
Our Pastor lives right across the street!
