Superbowl Sunday

It's a slow, Superbowl Sunday here at the Farmette.  Chores complete, dogs walked, and supper in the oven make for a good day.  Vodka cake and roasted pork chops are new recipes for today.  No big party plans for tonight, but that is okay with us.  A soggy workweek is ahead for the household, with some cold temps in sight.  Good times by the wood stove, I think.

Linking up this barn, from the archives, with The Barn Collective today.

  9. Love the barn photo and scene. Staying near the wood stove on a cold rainy day sounds cozy. The dinner sounds delicious too. I was glad to see the underdogs EAGLES win the superbowl. Happy Monday, enjoy your day and new week!

  10. I love this kind of barn! It's just wonderful! We had a quiet Sunday as well. Our daughter and grandson who had come for a visit on Friday evening and stayed over the weekend, left around 4, and then we just watched some TV and had a light supper. The visit had been a really good one, and we were basking in its afterglow! :-)
