Thankful Thursday
Thankful this Thursday for my small town community. During times of strife and struggle, people come together for the common good. Putting children first and solving problems is a priority here. For that I am thankful.
What are you thankful for today? Shout it from the rooftops! Link up and let us all know!!

If your community can come together, put aside differences and work together for the common good, you are very fortunate for it seems these days that people too often cannot work together or compromise or cooperate for the common good. I would guess you have a really good influence in the area where your town is located.
ReplyDeletei wish all communities were like that!

ReplyDeleteThank you for hosting.
We were both born and raised in a small town in Eastern Washington -- and we both wanted to experience travel and bigger cities (etc) -- and we're thankful we got to do that. BUT your posts bring back wonderful memories of childhood (and make me a little wistful about what we missed by moving away ..but we can't have everything.) We do have a nice little community feeling here in our RV resort -- people do watch out for each other .... it's quite lovely. Thank you so much for the memories and the reminders and as always for hosting.
ReplyDeleteI need to link up here....thankful for bloggers...a kind, relaxing community
