Thankful Thursday

Thankful today for dog hair.  I know, how could you be thankful for that?  Well, when my children were small we had five dogs.  Crazy, right?!  At this point, two are left and we enjoy the time we have with them.  They are older, with quiet personalities, and we love them.  What would life be without a little dog hair?

What are you thankful for today?  Shout it out and link it up!

  1. Hello, love the cute dog and photo. At one time hubby and I had four dogs. Two Labradors and two Golden Retrievers. We had so much fun with all the dogs, I miss all of them. Not sure if I miss the dog hair though. Thanks for hosting. Enjoy your day!

    1. Amanda, my Jack Russell does pee inside the house sometimes. It aggravates me to death. But, she is 12 years old and I try to be understanding! lol

    1. Hey Tom, that IS something to be thankful for. When these two pass on, I will get one more dog, but a non-shedding variety.

  11. Michelle, I just hung up from talking to our daughter in Oregon ... they had an unseasonably warm day and she had just bathed and groomed her big puppy ... and the birds were flying off with the combed out fur to add to their nests!! The Oregon songbirds join you in being grateful!! (My daughter would have the same reason you have even without the birds)! Thank you for hosting.

  12. Lovely dog! We have two kitties and they shed hair all over the place. We don't like the hair but we love our kitties so we just vacuum up the hair and keep feeding them. :)

  14. Hey pup, howya doing? I'm thankful for cat hair, not quite as bad as most dog hair but much worse than the Teddies I take care of which is practically non existent. And thankfully a patch I cut off to monitor an owie is growing back nicely.

  17. I haven't had a dog in nine years. We use to have four and they were a blast. I have an old film container that is in my backpack full of dog hair, a little from each one. It may sound weird but I find it makes me smile at times when I need to.
The dog looks like he's waiting on someone and wants to get going. A dog photo is a lovely photo!

  24. For most of the years when my kids were at home, we had a wonderful English springer spaniel. An ideal dog in many ways, but one way was that it didn't shed!
