Sweet, Sweet Sunday

What a weekend.  A softball scrimmage on Friday, the dog show on Saturday, and a busy Sunday.  Maybe Monday will provide a respite....I doubt it.

Yesterday afternoon had a storm brewing.  While I was out walking on the farm, a myriad of light and dark skies provided some great shots.

Predicted thunderstorms didn't show up, but they provided some great scenes.

Our time at the Louisville dog show was great fun and shots will be forthcoming.  Our girl's softball schedule kicks off tomorrow, so extra busy times are ahead.

I am ready....I think.....

Linking up with The Barn Collective today.

  2. WOW sure glad that storm didn't arrive, but what great photo opportunities it gave you to share with us, Michelle. I liked the first photo and then saw the last one and then it was a toss-up.

  10. Kudos to you, Michelle! That first shot is simply magnificent and should be framed and hanged...the other two are also good, but the last is close to the first in quality. What fun!

  13. Don't you love this time of year, when the grass is greening but doesn't need cut yet? Even with the continued cold in our area, it's still so pretty.

  14. What stunning sky shots of the impending storm. The contrast between the bright greens of new spring growth against that blue-black sky always makes my heart beat a little a faster! Beautiful!

  19. Hi Michelle, As I said before, I am thankful for your blog, especially because your photography inspires me. I am basically trying to do what you do, that is, take pictures around my area, and share with some descriptions. But you are way ahead of me, which is a good thing, because it gives me something to work on. Thank you for sharing and for your kind comments left for me on my blog. Have a great week ahead! John
