Friday Randoms

This photo gives the impression of green days, but we are headed for freezing temps and a bit of snow.  Spring....where are you?

Yes, I will be making the Coconut Mounds Bar Brownies from this list, yes I will.

I am ready to start planting flowers, but the weather is holding me off for a while.  Here is a good list of what I might be putting around The Farmette.

Last year I turned an old, claw foot tub into a fountain.  Looking at these ideas for more water features.

Leaving you with Israel Kamakawiwo'ole today.  Straight from my husband's playlist.

Linking up with Tom today!  He is taking over the Willy Nilly link up.
Pay him a visit, won't you?!

  1. Hello, we may get some snow tomorrow. I am not sure I like this Spring. The flowers will look beautiful. The Brownies sound delicious. YUM! Happy Friday, have a great day and weekend!

  3. Rain here today. We have had temps up to 80F and a few days later down to freezing! The joke here is: If you run your heat and your air conditioner in the same day, you are in Mississippi!
    Have a great weekend!

  4. That silo is a welcome sight!

It has felt colder here in recent days (thanks to high winds) than it has since early January, which were the coldest days of our winter.

  5. That is a superb photo! I'm assuming that's a silo on top of the hill, perhaps where your barn is located. Sorry about spring's delay. But it won't be long before the heat will make you long for a little coolness.

  9. Hello Michelle!:) What is happening with the world wide weather conditions!!! Here it rains constantly, when it is normally warm and sunny. We had one day last week with a couple of hours respite from the rain, and I tidied up the garden a little.
I will have to return to copy some of those Brownie recipes. They look so yummy.
    Enjoy your weekend!:)

  10. I like the silo, nice shot! There's a lot of choices for what kind of brownies a person might prefer. I prefer a lot of them, they look delicious.
Rain, wind and chilly here today. Spring is delayed everywhere. :(

  11. I hope you can plant those flowers soon! I spent the last few days in the garden, planting, cutting back... We had some much needed rain which always help.

  14. We are expecting cold here this weekend so I had to spend most of the day putting cold sensitive plants on carts so that Lowes can roll them inside Saturday evening. I don't think the snow will amount to much but it is supposed to dip into the 20s for a while.

  15. We are supposed to be getting that same weather!!
Two houses ago we lived in an old house that had the original claw foot bathtub and it was in excellent condition. I loved that old tub.

  21. We had ❄️All afternoon on Friday, Michelle, and while it didn't accumulate, it looked very wintry outside. Today is sunny but with tenmps only in the 40s. Spring is indeed late most places this year. The brownies sound wonderful.
