Springing

Spring is finally springing....be it ever so gently.

  1. Our redbuds aren't a full of blooms as usual (I don't think) but it looks like we may get some lilac blooms this year. Frozen out for the last two. We covered them for that big freeze a couple weeks ago.

  2. What's that old saying, April enters and lamb and leaves like a lion? I don't think that's right but I like the lamb bit of which this beautiful tree is a fine representative.

  5. ...and wetly, at least here in WV. I don't remember ever having so much rain, and such continued cool temperatures before at this time of year. I don't mind it, but I am worried about our honeybees as they have had little to feed on this season. We've put out food for them, but I don't know if it will be enough.
