Looking Back

This weekend had me working on a photo project for a local business.

This meant I have been perusing many old photos.

You know, looking for just the perfect few to fit the bill.

What this meant for me was bringing back a lot of memories of times past.

Long country road drives, looking for that perfect scene.

Recalling sunflowers at my own farm.

It was a good hour or so spent going through the archives.  I am glad to say that the memories were all good ones.

  2. These are each one beautiful but the last two take first prize. Give yourself two first prizes and try Marie Callendar's chocolate "pie" which is truly delicious even if it's more of a cake than a pie. Oops, got a little off topic there...but seriously, you have some wonderful shots of your local countryside; it would be hard to choose but the last two are truly gorgeous!

  7. So many lovely scenes...the one with the sunflowers is my favorite....or maybe it's the one of your sweet fur baby behind the fence. I know what you mean about getting lost in the photos, thus the memories. I was doing the same thing yesterday (for different reasons) but hours had passed by before I even realized it!
