Equine Sunday

This weekend had us in Georgetown, Kentucky for quite a few softball games.  In an atypical fashion, we had time in between games.  Time to peruse the local scenery.

Scenery that included many horses.

Most of these photos were taken of the Spy Coast Farm pastures.

These photos are straight out of the camera.  The light was a bit harsh, but true to color for the time of day.

Linking up with The Barn Collective today.

  15. Thanks for sharing the gorgeous horses. I love them. I got to live my childhood dream and got my own Quarter horse after I'd had my 3 kids, and got my daughter first a pony and then an Arabian mare. What a beautiful place you got to visit!! ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

  17. Many, many years ago, when my daughter was still a little girl, we got to know a doctor in Kentucky, whose daughters were into horses big time. During a visit there they took us to a horse sale where they served wine and canapés under tents, and people paid a king’s ransom for a horse, Arab sheiks arrived in private planes......we felt we were in another world. People paid more for a horse, much more, than we had paid for our house.
