Thankful Thursday

Thankful for so many things this Thursday.  As a Reading Interventionist I have assessed so many 2nd grade students recently who read as well as adults.  Wow!  The girl of the house is on the mend after catching the stomach bug.  Thankful for some things that continue to grow around The Farmette, despite the heat, including the Tennessee Spinning Gourd pictured above.  Also thankful for the upcoming three day weekend.  Whew!  A month into the school year already and it is flying by.

What are you thankful for this Thursday?  I bet you have a bunch of little things, just like me.  Share and appreciate them!

  3. Thursday is a good day! Today I take Daphne in for a bath and a trim. Hopefully she will come out looking more like a rough collie than a floor mop 🦊

  5. Wow! You are already a month into the school year? You go back to school early. Kids around here don't start until after Labor Day. I am thankful that, after 30+ year as a high school teacher, I no longer have to think about back-to school. :)
