Thankful Thursday

An old Fiat in the Trastevere neighborhood.

Thankful this Thursday for opportunities.  During the throes of parenting young children, traveling the world seemed like it would never happen.  And, here we are with times of travel at our fingertips.  Life moves fast and things change.

What are you thankful for this Thursday?  I hope you will take a moment to let us all know.

  4. Oh, my hubby and I are at the same place in our lives as you! We had children when we were still quite young and lived on a shoestring budget for years. Now, I am retired and he will be in 3 weeks. we went to Italy (Cinque Terre) also this year, and hope to travel much more in the coming years. I am so thankful for this opportunity, too!

He is a somewhat quiet man, humble . . .
I have needed his calm way and being patient with/for me these past weeks.
