Thankful Thursday

Thankful this Thursday for, yet again, a great work family.  Last night we had a dusting of snow and some slick roads.  Not enough to cancel school, which made some of us, (a lot of us), sad.  However, it was snack table day at work which made the whole thing forgivable.

If you are uneducated on snack table days it consists of teachers, who are fantastic cooks, bringing finger foods on alternating days in December.  It helps fuel us for this crazy month and provides much fellowship.  I highly recommend it.

What are you thankful for today?  Shout it out and let us all know.

  4. A nice winter scene and it does look rather cold. I definitely don't miss the slick roads. I'm thankful that my blood test is done and also for my healthly lifestyle which the credit goes to my wife and her great cooking.
    Have a wonderful day, Michelle!

  8. As I well remember, a snow day in December was always very welcome. It gave me an unexpected day to play catch up with all the Christmas activities I didn't have time for - baking, wrapping, etc. Too bad you didn't get one today. Keeping my fingers crossed for snow for your area! :)

  13. We had a kind of never ending snack table at work and an ever expanding waistline, lol. I'm thankful we only got a dusting too, already melted so no worry about digging out those ill fitting snow boots yet.
