What a Weekend

This crazy weekend starts with this great group of girls.  And, when I say great, I mean great.  We are a small, rural school.  We don't get to recruit talented players or offer them scholarships to play at our public high school.

These young ladies were the runner up in the All A State Championship this weekend, against a private school that gets to pick their players.

Maybe enough said about that situation.

The girl of the house pitched all of the games over the course of the weekend.

Seen here on the left, she was selected, along with a few team mates, for the all state tournament team.  Quite an honor.....

We are so proud of her work ethic, attitude, and sportsmanship.  I wish I had her fortitude when I was her age.

  2. Liking these gals , liking their story, ethic, spirit, all . . .
And liking your spunk, grit, determined “girl of the house” . . .
She seems to have focus and fun woven into her core . . .

Mom and Dad . . . it is right and good that you are proud of her.
(It says a bunch about mom and dad too . . .)
