Appalachian Phrase of the Day

"I started itching in places and I went to the doctor and he told me if I'd buy a cake of soap and jump in the creek with it once in a while it would stop.  Right.  Right as a rabbit's foot."

James Still

Today we celebrated Field Day at the primary school where I teach.  The children ran races, played games, endured tug-o-war, and generally had a great time.  It is an annual, end of the year tradition for us.  The weather cooperated and it went well.

However, I hope everyone takes a bath tonight.

The end.....
