Scenes from the Slow Lane

It's a beautiful time of year.  Summer is coming to an end, but not before it wears us out some high heat.  Some more neighbors enjoying a bit of refreshment.

A neighboring beauty who just might need a fly mask.

Tobacco wagons are a familiar sight at this time of year.

A bit of Goldenrod at the fence.

Many things are drying up, including what was once a Coneflower.  We have plenty of pears to harvest, but the hornets were on the fallen ones this afternoon.

Yep.....no pictures of that.

  4. I like your neighbours Michelle 😉 The end of summer can be both a relief and a sorrow when the cold weather sets in ✨

  5. Too bad the weather isn't matching the time of year yet. Maybe tomorrow we'll get a break.
