Super Holiday Sunday


It's been a great Sunday here at the Farmette.  Everyone is home for the weekend and all is well....except for my computer, which has bit the dust.  I am one of those old fashioned people who have a computer on a real desk in a real home office.  No laptop for me, but now I do.  Borrowing my son's laptop, I am getting a blog post accomplished, but a laptop is not my thing.  

It's been a weekend of chores, errands, and family time.  

Oh, and a load of college girl laundry.  

The kitten of the house thinks she is going along to college.  

Not a chance.

    I do love my desktop better than the lap for many reasons the jumping cursor make typing ver error prone that just for starters !

    Bummer about your computer ... I have a big laptop that I use at a real office and desk.... I’ve *never* had it in my lap. I do sometimes use an IPad on my lap to look at blogs and comment. But never to write posts or sort pictures or email. Our kids laugh at me. And the grands do everything on their telephone!

    Kitty tucked in “college girl of the house” . . . things . . .

    I get it . . . computer-laptop- tablet . . . each wear a different “wardrobe”
    It’s like sorting through an overstuffed closet!

    Glad all came home and spent some time, sorry about your computer. I too have a desk top computer but I also have a iPad which I like for reading books.

    I understand how you feel about a desktop computer vs. a laptop, Michell. I have both but much prefer the larger desktop. I also have a tablet and like that least of all, but it is the handiest when traveling. Hope you get a replacement PC that you will enjoy. The kitten looks ready to go.

    Bummer about your computer! I now have a laptop and wouldn't want to go back to a desktop, but we all have our own preferences. Cute kitty!
