Lazy Sunday

Photographed on my way to work, this past Friday.

It's been a day....a good day.  Did a couple of things this afternoon, but not much.  How about you?

The wood stove is burning hot.
The dogs and cats are sleeping and getting along.
Meeting family for supper later today.
I might feel a short nap calling my name.

Linking up with The Barn Collective today.

  1. A quiet day here, too. Errands followed by laundry. Football on in the background, a brief nap, a short walk, and getting ready to watch the New England Patriots at 4:30.

  4. Sounds like a good day for you. I'm also by the fire with my dog asleep on my lap and I'm crocheting my 2nd Dune blanket for my granddaughters in Ohio. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

  5. Beautiful sunrise! We had church this morning but the rest of the day has been quiet. I even took a short nap, which I never do. Now I hope I can sleep tonight... :)

  9. I do love lazy days when all is right with the world and many a time a nap calls my name too.
Dog sitting has occupied us for a whole week.
We don't have pets of our own so this an be a bit challenging for us "Oldies but Goodies".
My blog post is all about our Granddogger, Snicker-doodle.

  12. Nice barn! I spent the day working around the house. We are trying to get ready for travelling to Illinois for Thanksgiving. Have a wonderful Monday and since I won't be around until after Thanksgiving, I hope you enjoy yours.

  13. Mornings and evenings we're at church but afternoons are a time for relaxing!

  14. Beautiful sky in that dawn shot. We had a very pleasant warmish weekend so lots of gardening. Unfortunately tomorrow is going to be over 40 degrees centigrade and a catastrophic fire day here in South Australia. No gardening and nothing much else outside.
