A Barn, Some Cows, and a Bit of Chatter

A few of our cows and our aging barn on The Farmette.

After flooding rains yesterday we now have wind gusts up to 35 mph. Possible snow tonight.  The weather is odd and on a consistent basis.

If you left a comment on my Friday Randoms post I thank you dearly.  Please take note that I deleted all of them....by accident.

Christmas decor is up and there is a cat in one of the trees.  Did I expect anything less?   I think not.

The Thanksgiving leftovers are officially gone and though it was all good, I think we are all glad to move on to something else.

This week I turn in the gifts for my Christmas Angel.  If you have the means, I encourage each of you to provide for a child in need.

Wishing each of you a wonderful week ahead.

Linking up with The Barn Collective today.

  5. Snow and rain is predicted here tonight, which means rain usually. I'd rather have snow. Ah well. No leftovers here, we left them all in Florida :)

  6. I hope the cat comes down and decides it's no fun to be in the tree.

  9. What a spectacular sky as the backdrop for the cows heading home.
We are still nibbling on some turkey...yummy.
I am getting antsy to get the Christmas things out of the garage and in the house.
If it will stop raining long enough, Hubby will put up the outside lights.
It always makes me feel festive.

  12. Winter has arrived here in Nashua, NH, and many other places as well. We now have 18-inches of snow cover from a lingering storm that started on Sunday afternoon and went on-and-off until this afternoon (Tuesday). We didn't go out at all, hopefully when do on Wed, the roadways will all be clear. We didn't have any turkey day leftovers as we dined out and so we're planning to get a turkey and do some fixings at our place and leftovers are always welcome here.

  13. It's cold here, but we appear to have missed that system that went through parts south of here.
