It is a HIGHLY celebrated, cherished, relished, and coveted experience to wake up and find that you do not have to go to school...especially for teachers.

Oh We ACT as if we are all bothered by the inconvenience of snow days. And it's true that we HATE having to attend Inclement Weather Make Up Days.

But here's a little tidbit for ya...mark your calendar for when the snow days happened. Then watch your kids teachers for the next 9 months.

lololol. BINGO!

I have been in the profession for a long time, and we call this phenomenon "Snow Day Babies".

Every time we have ever have snow days, there will be at least one teacher in the school who has a baby (or who has a wife who gives birth) 40 weeks later. lol

This is why I was chuckling when I read your post.

Let me know if there are any Snow Day Babies when your kids start school next fall lol.

In Him,
GraceGracehttp://graceunderpressure2011.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3864190975528857884.post-33891827936102114312012-01-14T15:47:37.599-05:002012-01-14T15:47:37.599-05:00That dusting is very pretty! I smiled though when ...That dusting is very pretty! I smiled though when I realized it meant the kids didn't have to go to school. I guess everything is relative. In my village, school is open EVERY school day, no matter how much snow. If the kids cannot get there, then they cannot get there. But the school is still open for business, although sometimes the "business" is all fun and games.EG CameraGirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12803759124643467711noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3864190975528857884.post-66463766073609071112012-01-14T11:00:16.531-05:002012-01-14T11:00:16.531-05:00I love snow days and I'm still hoping we get s...I love snow days and I'm still hoping we get something here in Virginia!

I hope you're enjoying your day!~Kim at Golden Pines~https://www.blogger.com/profile/02001523468339091407noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3864190975528857884.post-81752679203426133942012-01-14T09:46:59.753-05:002012-01-14T09:46:59.753-05:00Sounds and looks like a day well spent.Sounds and looks like a day well spent.Birdmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16634185585147630883noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3864190975528857884.post-83676556990913092792012-01-14T08:22:22.810-05:002012-01-14T08:22:22.810-05:00Just be sure to add hugs:) Looks cold brrrrr.Just be sure to add hugs:) Looks cold brrrrr.Changes in the windhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06942797186537814864noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3864190975528857884.post-1392464586047348952012-01-14T07:27:15.466-05:002012-01-14T07:27:15.466-05:00I will help Jack cleaning up...I will help Jack cleaning up...VPhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10186211344492845052noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3864190975528857884.post-75027814913834739672012-01-14T06:59:37.717-05:002012-01-14T06:59:37.717-05:00Looks like a relaxing day!Looks like a relaxing day!Lisa @ Two Bears Farmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03464839163693785901noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3864190975528857884.post-82795010999406363792012-01-14T06:51:13.617-05:002012-01-14T06:51:13.617-05:00Snow day! Schools were not called off being this is small potatoes for our area. :) Watching the snow dance was beautiful. I LOVE it!
