Thankful Thursday

A tobacco wagon traveling on my small, country road.

Thankful today for being back to work, seeing students, and trying to make a difference.  I could say that I don't appreciate the alarm clock.....but I am trying to be positive here.  Getting up each day and moving forward in life is a privilege denied to many.  May we all make the most of it.

What are you thankful for this Thursday.  Let us all know!

  3. How nice that you are thankful to be back with your students. I miss being with students terribly, but I don't miss the demanding schedule of teaching!

  7. I have an alarm clock I have never used in the 8-10 years i have had it. I wake early and have an internal clock otherwise. It helps being retired also. It will be there tomorrow is a theme.

  8. It is a blessing to love your work! I’m thankful for good teachers in my life and in my children and grands (and onwards). (Must admit however that I’m also thankful that the retired teacher and I no longer have to wake to an alarm.)

  11. It looks like that was a fine day to be out and about.

I seem to always wake up before my alarm clock, which helps.

  13. Today I'm thankful for my book club that meets once a month at the library.
Great group of people and I've read some great books that I normally would never have chosen.
